A future Intel processor roadmap has leaked, showing the preparations for future Intel computers, tablet computers and other devices to launch processors. The roadmap, Intel will launch code Kaby Lake and 2 processor family in Apollo Lake this year, they will be the seventh generation Core products.
Wherein, Kaby Lake Skylake will replace the current line of processors for notebook, desktop and tablet devices, while Apollo Lake Celeron and Pentium processor architecture is designed for low-cost and low-power market, to replace the current Braswell Atom product line and product line.
Leaked roadmap also shows that the use of Apollo Lake processor Intel NUC computer, set to debut by the end of 2016. More powerful NUC, will adopt Kabby Lake chips will debut in early 2017.
Apollo Lake processor uses Intel NUC computer size is 4.5 inches Yingcun × 2 × 4.4 inches, and built-in power 10W quad-core processor, two versions of the processor will be available to Apollo Lake NUC6ACAYH barebones, support up to 8GB of system memory and a 2.5-inch hard disk or SSD, in addition to a version called NUC6CAYS, you will have 2GB of system memory, 32GB storage space, out of the box with Windows 10 Home operating system.
