Springboard, officially launched after the name Cloud Search, for those who need different teams and individuals to access different files designed for large enterprises. Search services follow file sharing permissions, so users can only access their available content, including corporate resources such as policy manuals, team projects, and staff-only documents.

In addition to displaying directories, Cloud Search can also be used as a directory service, allowing users to find colleagues' contact information and view shared calendar entries and files. After viewing the contact information in the search structure, the user is able to send messages, calls, or hangouts to the target user.
