Microsoft today announced the launch of Microsoft 365, which is a new way for companies to purchase Office and Windows. While the software giant sells Office 365 and Windows 10 to businesses in a number of different ways, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Edition combines Office 365 Enterprise, Windows 10 Enterprise, and Microsoft's mobility and security improvements into a single subscription.

Microsoft also offers Microsoft 365 Business Edition, which will debut in public preview on August 2, including Office 365 Business Premium and Office applications and Windows 10 device security and management capabilities. Microsoft announced the two packages at today's Inspire Partner Conference, which has 17,000 attendees to discuss many of Microsoft's partnerships.

Microsoft today also introduced the Azure Stack, allowing businesses to host their own hybrid cloud. Dell, HP and Lenovo are creating an integrated system to run Azure Stack and host applications and services on hardware related to the current infrastructure. The first batch of systems will begin shipping in September.

Today's Microsoft Inspiration Conference will also see CEO Satya Nadella discussing the company's cooperation with its partners on the stage, as well as Microsoft's future plans, and internal salespeople will be surfaced. The Microsoft Inspire Partner Conference was held in Washington, DC, with 17,000 attendees, and Microsoft has more cloud partners than AWS, Google and Salesforce. Microsoft's impressive cloud business growth has boosted the company's revenue in recent years.
