At the end of last year, the two major competitors in the CPU market, Intel and AMDAnnounced cooperation R & DA custom chip that includes Intel's Eighth Generation Core, AMD's Radeon GPU core, and HBM2 memory. Intel India now has more information about the chip on its website (already 404). The custom chip, called Core i7-8809G, has a quad-core, eight-line, 3.1 GHz baseband, 8 MB L3 cache, an integrated graphics card for the HD 630 and a GPU section for the Radeon RX Vega M GH, confirming the AMD-provided GPU is Vega architecture, the entire chip target power consumption is 100W. If the CPU section is 45W, then the GPU section is 55W and its performance is estimated at RX 550 level. Intel expects to reveal the details of the product at CES.
