It has been found that the microprocessor has hidden dangers in predicting execution and prediction execution, or allows unauthorized people to read memory through bypass attacks. It is the Spectre flaw.

A local attacker can take sensitive information, including kernel memory (Bulletin number:CVE-2017-5715).

To update the Intel CPU microcode, please pay attention to downloading the corresponding version:

The microcode update installation method is as follows:

Open the 'software and update' program and click on the 'additional driver' tag page.

Look at the processor firmware in 'intel-microcode'. If you don't check it, remember to do it manually.

Run sudo apt-get update in terminal

Reboot and complete the update.
