Oracle announced 2017Overview of the newly accepted Java Champion. This time announced 40 new members, including contributors to InfoQMonica Beckwith.

Champion provides independent feedback and advice for Oracle, and sometimes is invited to provide confidential briefings and technical discussions with Oracle's Java engineers.

Members of the selection criteriaIs open, emphasizing leadership, influence, independence and technological capabilities. This project is open to all non-Oracle employees, but candidates must be nominated by the current Champion and can not nominate themselves.
