It has been proved that two countries who participated in the Olympic Games were unable to get their mobile phones because of the United Nations' international sanctions. The two countries are Iran and DPRK, and Iran is very depressed about the fact that they won't get free phone calls. After a formal protest in the Ministry of foreign affairs in Iran, the International Olympic Committee was allowed to make telephone calls to Iran and North Korea.
The only difference was that the Korean athletes had to give up the phone before they returned home. Now, according to The Associated Press reports, Korean athletes totally refuse to receive Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and even if they bring Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to North Korea, they won't be able to use it, and they may be asked to make a phone call.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which is supposed to be presented to the athletes, preinstalled a variety of applications that might be useful to the athletes. What is more interesting is that Samsung has actually left a bit of space between the company and the International Olympic Committee initiative and said they were not involved in the whole business.
