The new version of Google Lens launched today lets Android users try something like creating contacts from business cards or getting more information about famous landmarks. If you have a business card, just open it in Google Photos and link to Google Lens. With a single click, Google Lens will automatically create a contact for you using the information printed on the card.

Another new addition to Google Lens is the ability to recognize and provide famous landmark details. So, if you're in Pisa, Italy, and you see a tower that stands at an awkward angle, Google Lens tells you, "Hey! It's the Leaning Tower of Pisa." In addition to identifying buildings, Google Lens offers you Information you may need. This includes things like location descriptions or opening hours, saving you Google search time.

You can find the latest version of Google Lens in Google Photos. Sadly, iOS users will have to wait a while before they can use it. Google released a Google Lens for the Apple smartphone platform at MWC 2018 but did not give a specific release date. But said it will be released in the coming weeks.
