Based on existing web technologies, this project only uses a subset of HTML, making AMP HTML Documents (also known as web pages) can run quickly in all modern browsers. In Google’s accelerated mobile page project announcement, the team revealed plans for the future launch of these web standards.
Content developed using this new web standard will appear in certain areas of Google Search, such as the Top Stories carousel.
Malte Ubl, technical director of the Google AMP project, said: "Based on the technologies we use for AMP, we are now ready to take the next step and work hard to support more immediate content loading that is not based on AMP technology..."
Google said that the new Web standards will be tested in Google search when they are tested extensively to ensure that they are truly beneficial to users. However, the specific launch time depends on the project schedule.
