This year is the tenth year of the China Telecom's mobile communication service operation. At the conference, China Telecom said that since 2015, China Telecom and China Unicom combined with China Unicom to launch the full network standard. Up to now, the total sales volume of all Netcom terminals has exceeded 900 million, and the industry market is more than 75%.
Last year, the state issued the new generation of artificial intelligence development plan and the three year action plan (2018-2020) of the new generation of artificial intelligence industry (2018-2020), which promoted the artificial intelligence industry to the national strategy. China Telecom's adoption of the "AI terminal white paper" will help the whole Netcom terminal industry to achieve the integration of cloud terminal AI capabilities.
The white paper mainly puts forward specific requirements for three aspects: platform, capability and application of mobile terminals.
(1) hardware requirements, deep learning framework and operating system are proposed for platform requirements.
(2) performance requirements, such as face recognition, voice assistant, scene recognition and system optimization, are put forward.
For example, on face recognition, the 3D face unlock time is not more than 200ms, the error rate is not higher than 0.0001%, the rejection rate is not higher than 2%; in quiet environment (not higher than 40dB), the recognition rate of preset wake-up words (with sound lines) is not less than 90%, the accuracy rate of speech transtext is not less than 92%, and the accuracy rate of semantic recognition is not less than 90%, and so on.
(3) the definition of beauty, background ambiguity, photo classification, and AR are defined in terms of application requirements.videoTranslation and other AI application experience needs.
For example, in the face of beauty, the terminal should support more than 200 facial feature points of the beauty algorithm; speech translation delay is not higher than 1s and so on.
In addition, the China Telecom will launch a AI service application for the development of the endowed terminal industry. The white paper defines the implementation requirements of AI services on the terminal, such as the security of the smart code number, the unified account, the small wing housekeeper, the intelligent cloud, the intelligent health cloud and so on.
It is worth mentioning that China Telecom joint 11 manufacturers first launched 17 terminals, will launch 50 AI mobile phones in the future, the sales volume is expected to reach 50 million. And China Telecom's Tianyi Telecom Terminal Co., Ltd. will also cooperate with Hisense, lily, Guang Xin and small capsicum four manufacturers to collect four thousand yuan AI mobile phone.
