In June 1st, according to foreign media reports, many sources said that Apple was developing its own iPhone power management chip, and many suppliers who were responsible for providing energy saving management chips for Apple had fallen by more than 50% after 2018.

According to Reuters news, in a recent conference call, Dialog Semiconductor chief executive Jalal Bagherli said Apple had not explained the way to cut orders for power management chips, not only Dialog Semiconductor, but also other suppliers. The executive said Apple is likely to develop its own power management chip.

Apple's move will reduce suppliers' revenue by 5% in 2018, though it is still on the rise compared with the same period last year. But according to analyst estimates, more than half of Dialog Semiconductor's revenue comes from Apple's orders.

Dialog Semiconductor's share price has shrunk by half in the past year due to price declines.

It has been rumoured that apple is developing its own power management chip, which can be better integrated with A series processors and W wireless chips. The design of power management chips can help apple to further reduce costs, improve battery efficiency, help apple into the future of virtual reality and enhance the field of real glasses.

Apple is likely to launch its own power management chips as early as 2018, but according to Dialog, the company's performance won't be too big this year, and the company also acknowledges that in the next few years, Apple's independent research and development power management chip will come out.

But Bagherli said Apple has signed orders with the company for 2019 and 2020 products, so it is unlikely that Apple will launch such a chip this year.

It is reported that Apple will launch three new iPhone this year, including the 5.8 inch and 6.5 inch OLED display version and the 6.1 inch LCD version.
