Dozens of high-end mobile phones have been stolen

On August 3, 2017, an e-commerce company in Xinzhou District of Wuhan reported to the public security organ that recently customers often bought high-end mobile phones online. After receiving the goods, they returned the goods without being able to boot, black screens and other reasons. This situation has occurred frequently for a period of time. The e-commerce company suspects that the mobile phone has been hand-footed, but the two-dimensional code of the returned mobile phone is displayed and normal, and the detection is not picky.

The police screened 300 mobile phone orders returned by the company nationwide, and found that 40 return addresses were concentrated, and all returnedHuaweiHigh-end mobile phones. The public security organs sent the 40 mobile phones to the mobile phone manufacturer for testing. The results showed that the motherboards of 27 mobile phones were inconsistent with the factory and were replaced by inferior motherboards. However, the other party's method of stealing the motherboard is more subtle: the motherboard shell is not changed, so the QR code on the shell is scanned, or the original information.

Through investigation, all the clues point to a mobile phone repair shop in Hankou. On August 23, 2017, Xinzhou police inspected the store and arrested 4 people including Wan Mou, Li Mou, Xiao Mou and Xiang Mou, and seized more than 30 mobile phones and a large number of parts and components. On September 14, the Xinzhou District Procuratorate of Wuhan City approved the arrest of four people including Wan Mou, Li Mou, Xiao Mou and Xiang Mou on suspicion of fraud. On November 1, another suspect, Zhang, surrendered to the public security organ and was arrested on December 6 by the Xinzhou District Procuratorate. At this point, the five-person "startup team" of this mobile phone repair studio was all arrested.

After review, Zhang and Wanmou partnered in the mobile phone repair business in the studio of Huazhong Cyberport, Dazhi Road, Jiang'an District, Wuhan; Xiaomou, Li, and Xiang were engaged in mobile phone sales in the store.

The 2000 yuan motherboard was sold for 400 yuan.

According to the suspect, the case was explained. In May 2017, Zhang proposed that Xiaomou, Limou, and a certain type of mobile phone that purchased Huawei p10 and mate9 on the e-commerce platform, and replaced the mobile phone motherboard with Zhang and Wanmou. After that, return to the mall. Every time the motherboard of a mobile phone is replaced, Zhang and Wanmou pay 200 yuan to each other. The team that originally relied on the maintenance of mobile phone business was transformed into a fraud gang that “returns wealth to get rich” by disassembling the online shopping mobile phone motherboard.

The court found that between May and July 2017, Xiaomou and Li jointly took a total of 19 Huawei p10 and mate9 mobile phones through the network platform, and a total of 8 Huawei p10 and mate9 mobile phones were handed over to the company. Zhang and Wanmou, then Zhang and Wan replaced the motherboards of these 27 mobile phones with used motherboards. Then, based on the reason that the mobile phone can not be turned on, use the "seven days no reason to return" rule to apply for a refund of the return to the victim. These mobile phone motherboards with an average price of around 2,000 yuan were finally sold by Zhang and others at a unit price of 400 yuan.

According to the court's trial, the 19 mobile phone motherboards that Xiaomou and Li had defrauded in the above manner were worth RMB43024, and the value of the eight mobile phone motherboards defrauded in the above manner was 17,477 yuan. "I used to rely on my own craft income to be more than 7,000 yuan a month. Now I really regret it." After the arrest, Zhang and others regretted it.

On November 30, 2017, Wan Mou, Xiao Mou, Li Mou, and Xiang were prosecuted by the Xinzhou District Procuratorate; on March 5, 2018, the last suspect in the case, Zhang, was filed by the Xinzhou District Procuratorate. public prosecution.
