According to the report, the number of online webcast users in China reached 298 million in 2017, and the number of users is expected to exceed 500 million in 2019. The report also mentioned that as of the end of last year, there were more than 200 companies in China that launched or engaged in live webcasting, a decrease of nearly 100 compared with 2016, and a decrease of 400 compared with 2011. According to the report analysis, since the media industry traffic dividend period is coming to an end, development has ushered in an inflection point. According to the report, mobile social software has become an indispensable tool for Internet users. Nearly half of the users use mobile social applications more than three times a day, and more than 80% of users use mobile social applications for more than one hour each day.
The top three social applications with the highest user usage rate are WeChat friends, QQ space and Sina Weibo, with usage rates of 87.3%, 64.4% and 40.9% respectively.
In the longer term, the average daily usage time of China Mobile's social APP increased from 409,000 minutes in June 2016 to 492,000 minutes in May 2017. During the period, there was an increase or decrease, and the overall situation showed a spiral upward trend.
In terms of online shopping, the transaction volume of China's online shopping market reached 7.18 trillion yuan last year, an increase of 32.2% year-on-year. The market growth rate once again ushered in a further turning point.

Net car users increased by nearly 20%
In terms of network travel, the report shows that as of the end of 2017, including the network taxis and special express trains, the total number of car users in China's network reached 435 million, with a growth rate of 19.2%, which remained basically stable.
Specifically, the number of taxi users in the network reached 287 million, an increase of 61.88 million compared with 2016, with a growth rate of 27.5%; the number of dedicated network users reached 236 million, an increase of 68.44 million compared with 2016, with a growth rate of 40.6%.

According to the report, the size of China's shared car market reached 790 million yuan in 2017, an increase of 83.7% year-on-year.
