On August 4th, at the 16th China Joy event, Tencent Application Bao “ Parent-child Protection Beta Edition was first seen with the public. & ldquo; parent-child guardian & rdquo; is the use of technology, through smart sensor phone use posture, manage mobile APP access, limit the use of mobile phone and other functions, from different dimensions to guide the child's healthy and reasonable use of mobile phones.

“As an aboriginal in the era of mobile Internet, the growth of today’s children is inseparable from the electronic products such as mobile phones. The emergence of new media has greatly expanded the children's vision and mobilized their curiosity and enthusiasm for exploration. At the same time, parents are also anxious to find that there are hidden dangers in the incorrect use of electronic products such as mobile phones for a long time. For example, it may cause vision loss, spinal deformity, and so on. In order to solve these pain points and cultivate children's good machine habits, the application treasure explores and launches the & lsquo; parental guardian & rsquo; function, using the power of technology to protect the healthy growth of children. & rdquo; Hou Xiaonan, Vice President of Tencent Mobile Internet Business Group expressed the original intention of the product development.

The data shows that today's children's touch time is getting earlier. According to the first domestic children's cybersecurity research report, the mobile phone contact rate of children aged 3-6 in China has reached 91%; when the middle school grade (9-10 years old), it has been similar to adult behavior.

After conducting research and interviews with a large number of users, Appbao found that parents have three major pain points for their children's use of mobile phones. The pain point is that time is difficult to control. Usually it is said to play for 15 minutes, but if the parents ignore the supervision, then the result is often a serious overtime; pain point two, health problems. Children who are in the developmental stage are habitually adopting bad postures such as bowing and lying down, which makes parents worry about their spine and vision health; pain point three, worrying about the child seeing inappropriate content. Usually for younger children, mobile phones are often shared with parents, so it is difficult to control which apps the kids use and which videos to watch.

On the one hand, it is the parents' anxiety and distress about the child's incorrect use of mobile phones; on the other hand, it is the poor management of the child's health machine due to various factors. According to the survey, 67.7% of the parents did not give the child time to play, and 61.7% of the parents did not screen the children's mobile app for children.

In order to solve the above-mentioned pain points and improve the supervision of the use of mobile phones for children's health, Tencent Application has hatched the "Parental Parenting" function. The latest beta version guides children to use their mobile phones in three ways:

First, you can intelligently sense the posture and angle of your phone. Whether you are kneeling, lying or playing mobile phones sideways, you will be prompted by the screen and voice to correct and monitor the bad habits of your child during the mobile phone, thus effectively protecting your vision and spine health.

Second, it is possible to manage the time when the mobile phone is used. Parents are free to set the length of time each child uses the phone and automatically lock the phone (you need to enter the administrative password to unlock the parent). In this way, develop good habits for children.

Third, the development of "children's mode". Under “Children's Mode”, parents can fully manage the range of accessible apps and mobile phone usage, which will allow children to access new things on the Internet, broaden their horizons, increase their interest in learning, and guide them to use healthy and beneficial. The APP product also eliminates the embarrassing scene of “wrongly deleted software” and “wechat voices”.

Since the launch of the "Elderly Care" function at the beginning of this year, the launch of "Parental Parenting" has enabled App Bao to fully demonstrate its love for the special people of the mobile Internet.

“As the largest application distribution platform in China, the monthly number of application treasures has exceeded 200 million. Among the large user groups, there are not only young people who occupy the backbone, but also a large number of elderly people and children at both ends of the crowd. All along, App Bao has always adhered to the principle of "where users are, where we are & rsquo;". Whether it is & lsquo; elder care & rsquo; or & lsquo; parent-child guard & rsquo;, the original intention of research and development is to meet the user's demand for mobile Internet. We have the responsibility and willingness to explore and build a more reasonable and healthy mobile internet environment for our users. & nbsp; Hou Xiaonan said that science and technology is an important driving force for social development, and people are the standard of technology. The best product, the ultimate goal is to serve people.
