Apple today released the latest iOS 12.1 beta for both the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max, which includes the FaceTime group chat feature removed from iOS 12 beta 8.
As early as the early morning of September 19, Apple released the first beta version of the iOS 12.1 operating system. After the arrival of the iPhone XS series, Apple has provided a new version for the new machine.
The update of iOS 12.1 Beta 1 is not much for now. FaceTime multi-person simultaneous chat, previously removed from the eighth developer beta of iOS 12, has been reintroduced into iOS 12.1 in line with Apple's previous commitments and new update logs. Apple needs more time to test and is not sure if the formal upgrade will be available at the end of the fall.
Currently, registered developers can download to Apple Developer Center before, and users who install the corresponding description files can update to the latest iOS 12.1 beta via OTA. Before installing the beta, the Editor recommends that you create a fully encrypted iTunes backup or iCloud backup, and not install it on the host device. After all, the beta software is not always stable and may be vulnerable.
