In a blog post, Microsoft said that based on Microsoft's internal self-examination and feedback from Insider members, Microsoft will evaluate the version of the Fast channel every day. After that, Microsoft will send a bug to the function team to the slow channel version. The function team will fix these bugs and expect to return in 3-5 days. These fixes will be included in the latest Cumulative Update released by the company for Insider members. After checking and testing, the feature updates and service update packages are pushed together to the Slow channel. The entire process means that Slow channel users can get a more stable version at a faster rate.
Microsoft explained: "We will continue to improve our update mechanism to achieve faster update speed and stability in the Slow channel. We will also strive to make the update smaller and easier to deploy."
