A Reddit user asked: "If in theory we can no longer live on Earth, where is the most suitable place in the universe?"
Wellons' answer is Titan, which is a more interesting answer than the standard Mars or Moon.
Wellons once worked as an engineer on the NASA Cassini mission, and the project is now over. Cassini spent several years studying the Saturn ring and its many satellites, including Saturn's largest moon.
NASA chief scientist Jim Green has previously used Titan as a possible alternative to human alien colonies.
“Titan is the only place outside the Earth that has liquids on its surface in the form of lakes and oceans,” says Wellons. “These liquids are made up of methane, but with the right protective gear, you can swim in theory without getting hurt!”
Wellons points to the thick atmosphere of Titan and its ability to protect us from space radiation. "It's very dense, and we can actually connect our wings to our arms and fly on this Saturnian satellite," she said.
The average surface temperature of Titan Titan is about 179 degrees Celsius.
