Typing on a normal touch screen is inefficient and cumbersome (Figure:WIPO,viaMSPU)

According to Microsoft's description, each key on the virtual keyboard corresponds to multiple input areas. Its positioning and size design is related to the direction of the user's current finger.

This patented technology automatically regenerates new points to accommodate drift and other changes in relative button positions, providing a reliable input experience without physical bumps.

This patent applies to many equipment scenarios (figure from: WIPO, viaWindows United)

In addition, Microsoft plans to integrate this technology into touchpads, cameras, motion sensors, and hybrid reality displays. Of course, given that the application for this patent is submitted and published very close, we do not expect to see the launch of related products soon.
