The British government added "more than 12,000 pieces of information" to Google Assistant and Alexa

Over the past six months, the Government Digital Services Department has been working on a pilot project that allows people to access information from GOV.UK without touching a computer keyboard. Some of the questions that can be answered now include "How do I apply for a passport", "When is the next bank holiday" and "How much is the national minimum wage?"

The team is still adding more information to Assistant and Alexa, and is working on ways to renew car taxes and perform other simple tasks through smart speakers. Unfortunately, Google Home still doesn't know when Britain will leave Europe.
