ITunes Consumer Information Leakage Apple has been sued by users in two U.S. States

Three iTunes consumers from Rhode Island and Michigan filed lawsuits in San Francisco's Federal District Court on Friday seeking to represent hundreds of thousands of consumers in their state who allegedly leaked information without consent through iTunes'personal listening.

According to the indictment, the leak of iTunes consumer data is not only illegal, but also potentially dangerous, as it could lead to bad behaviour against vulnerable groups in society.

"For example, anyone or any entity may get a list from which you can see that among consumers who buy country music from Apple's iTunes Store mobile app, all of them are over 70 years old and have gone to college.educationThe name and address of unmarried women whose family income exceeds $80,000. The three consumers who filed the lawsuit said, "Such a list can be purchased, and the price of such a list, which contains thousands of consumer information data, is about $136."

According to the state's own privacy laws, iTunes consumers in Rhode Ireland who have leaked information claim $250 per person, while iTunes consumers in Michigan claim $5,000 per person.

In response to the complaint, Apple representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment from the media.
