In recent years, Huirong (SMI) has taken a place in the SSD main control market, offering SM2262EN for high-end products, SM2263XT/SM2263G for mainstream platforms, and SM2263EN for entry-level 3D QLC platforms.
As for the SM2267G supporting the PCIe 4.0 standard, it is currently in the final stages of development. It is expected to meet with you in the near future, and ADATA has already demonstrated prototypes on Computex 2019.
The second quarter of 2020 is expected to be a burst of PCIe 4.0 x4 interface SSDs, which coincides with the launch of the next generation of mainstream PC platforms.
The first generation of PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD masters from Huirong will obviously bring some significant improvements, such as performance optimization, compatibility with new 3D NAND flash memory, and improved storage durability.
At present, Huirong did not disclose the features and exact specifications of its PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD master, but we are expected to know more details before the second quarter of 2020.
