ASUS provides free devices to XDA third-party Android OS developers

It is reported thatXDA-DevelopersWith the assistance of ASUS, at least one ZenFone 6 smartphone was sent to the following users:

● luca020400, a developer of LineageOS, previously engaged in glory View 10,One plus6 / 6T adaptation work;

● OrdenKrieger, a developer of LineageOS, has worked on the adaptation of ZTE Axon7 and Lenovo ZUK Z1;

● Phhusson, lead developer of the Project Treble GSI project;

● micky387, OmniROM team, adapted to a 6T ROM, and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 / Note Edge unofficial LineageOS ROM;

● frap129, CarbonROM team, adapted to Google Carbon Nexus 6 / 6P, Samsung Galaxy S3, Nextbit Robin;

● Arnova8G2, a high-yield Google Camera transplanter;

● Freak, the Kirisakura kernel team, has smashed the custom kernel of the Google Pixel series and HTC U11 / U12+;

● kdragOn, Proton kernel team, smashed Google Pixel 3 / 3 XL, Samsung Galaxy S8,MilletCustomized kernel for A1;

● Dees-Troy, from the TWRP team and the lead developer of the project;

● bigbiff, from the TWRP team, rushed through the TWRP project for several Samsung devices.

Finally, according to XDA Editor-in-Chief Mishaal Rahman, ASUS has not yet officially opened the project. They are still in the experimental stage to see how well the project works.

If all goes well, Asus is expected to inspire more competition in the Android field, which is obviously a favorite thing for the majority of users.
