The two companies agreed toSamsungMobile phonePre-installed seriesMicrosoftApplications, includingOfficeApplications, OneDrive, Skype and OneNote. In addition, Microsoft allows Samsung Galaxy mobile phone buyers to get 100 GB of Microsoft OneDrive free storage immediately after the new phone is set up.
The process is fairly simple, and all users have to do is log in with Microsoft accounts in OneDrive applications and get free storage directly from their phones. A Sam Mobile report suggests that the event may have ended on July 25, so no Samsung mobile phone user can now get 100 GB of free storage on OneDrive.
Neither company has expressed its views on this issue at present. OneDrive currently only provides 5GB of free storage for new accounts, so providing 100GB to Galaxy users is a driving force to start using the service.AppleSimilar amounts of free storage are provided for new accounts, while users of Google's cloud-based hard disk can get 15GB of free storage when setting up new accounts. Currently, the 100GB storage plan on OneDrive costs $1.99 a month.
