Apple updated a product information form shortly after the release of the new iPhone, confirming that the iPhone 11 Pro/ ProMax was designed with a single L-shaped battery.
It is worth mentioning that only the iPhone XS adopted a single L-shaped battery design last year, while the iPhone XR and the iPhone XS Max both adopted multiple L-shaped designs.
In addition, Vietnam's website Ding Vit first dismantled an iPhone 11 Pro Max in iFixit, confirming not only the design of a single L-cell, but also the capacity of 3969 mAh batteries.
The battery capacity of the iPhone 11 Pro Max is about 25% higher than that of the iPhone XS Max, and in terms of disassembly, the new battery is indeed thicker than the old battery. According to Apple's product information table, the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max have battery weights of 47, 48 and 65 grams, respectively, while the iPhone XR,iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have battery weights of 46, 41 and 50 grams, respectively.
Finally, this demolition gives us the first glimpse of the post-3-camera component of the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Of course, iFixit will also bring more detailed disassembly reports as soon as the new iPhone is launched, and more hardware information will be disclosed at that time. We will wait and see.
