Fortune magazine released a list of 40 Chinese business elites under 40 in 2019 on the evening of the 19th. Zhang Yiming, 36, founder and CEO of byte beating, ranked first. Xu Li, co-founder and CEO of Shangtang Science and Technology, and Wang Tao, founder of Dajiang, ranked second and third.
In addition, DiDi founder and CEO Cheng Wei ranked fourth, pinduoduo founder, chairman and CEO Huang Zheng ranked sixth, Kuaishou co-founder and CEO Suhua ranked 11, Dada founder Kuai Jiaqi ranked 12th, Taobao and Tmall president Jiang Fan ranked 13th, Yijia Technology Co-founder Pei Yu made the list at the age of 29, making it the youngest person on the list.
Several 39-year-old entrepreneurs, including Wang Tao, Huang Zheng and Zhang Bangxin, will leave the list next year.
