Counterpoint, a research firm, released a statistical report on global smartphone shipments in the third quarter of 2019, ending seven consecutive months of year-on-year declines as demand grew.
The total shipment for the quarter was 380 million units, an increase of 200000 units over the same period last year.
In terms of manufacturers, Samsung shipped 78.4 million smartphones in the current quarter, up 8.4% year-on-year, with a share of 20.6%; Huawei shipped 66.8 million smartphones in the current quarter, up 28.5% year-on-year, with a share of 17.6%.
Apple, OPPO and Xiaomi are Apple, OPPO and Xiaomi, respectively, with shipments and shares falling slightly from the same period last year, while 6 to 10 are vivo,Realme, Motorola, LG and Tecno.In addition to realm (up 684%) and voice, other brands declined.
It can be seen that both Huawei and Realm are the most eye-catching brands, regardless of the total amount of shipment, the share and the year-on-year increase.
