Canada begins to export 5g mobile phones made in India to the world

According to foreign media reports, first Canada is one of the first companies to launch 5g devices in the global market. In addition to Indian operators, it also tests the compatibility of smartphones with the networks of us and European operators at its R & D center in Hyderabad, southern India.

The company has invested with Chinese rival oppo to build a smartphone manufacturing plant in Noida, India, to produce 5g devices.

According to Indian media, both smartphone makers are part of China's step-by-step Electronics Group.

Oppo didn't comment on the joint production of smartphones. It is reported that oppo has produced 4G smart phones for Yijia company in the past.

India still has a long way to go to deploy 5g communication network, 5g test has not yet started, and spectrum has not yet been auctioned.

According to a recent news report, Ericsson, a Swedish telecom equipment manufacturer, said India's 5g network will not be commercially available until 2022, compared with the previous estimate of 2020.

CoaI, a telecoms industry group in India, expects that the country's commercial 5g network will have to wait at least five years due to the high price of 5g base stations and insufficient radio spectrum.

By contrast, leading communication service providers in Asia, Australia, Europe, Western Asia and North America opened 5g networks earlier this year. Since its release in April 2019, South Korea has a large number of 5g users, with the latest statistics of 4 million. China launched 5g in late October and expects to have 13 million 5g users by the end of 2019.

In 5g, the company has set up 5g simulator in its R & D center in Hyderabad and explored 5g cloud computing solutions there.

The R & D center is also developing customized 5g smart phones, not only for the Indian market, but also for other markets such as North America and Europe.

According to the third quarter smart phone market report of IDC, a technology market research company, in India, Chinese companies have gained 70% of the market share, of which Xiaomi company ranks first with 27.1% of the market share. Vivo, realme and oppo have gained more than 10% market share respectively. Samsung Electronics ranks second in India, with market share close to 20%.
