At CES this year, AMD launched its laptop-facing Ryzen 4000 Sharp Dragon APU processor, using a 7nm process that integrates the Zen2 architecture with the Vega GPU.

During the interview, CEO Dr Su Zifeng has confirmed that the APU processor that integrates Navi GPU will have it.

While communicating with VB, another amd executive, CTO mark papermaster, also shared some interesting views, including the news of 7Nm desktop APU.

Papermaster says, AMD is committed to making high-performance CPU and GPU products affordable for a wider group. At the same time, he believes AMD's technology to fuse CPUs and GPUs will also expand to a wider range of areas, including desktop platforms.

In addition, the desktop APU will also support smartshift, that is, to intelligently allocate the respective loads of CPU and GPU, so as to ensure the best energy utilization in each computing scenario.

During the interview, Papermaster also talked about some of the industry's hot technology topics, such as 8K,5G, etc., which he said were exciting and AMD products would support them completely or even seamlessly.
