According to foreign media reports, NASA has selected Houston based axiom space as the first supplier of commercial living module module module of the international space station.As a start-up founded in 2016, its modules will be used for future commercial space missions, supporting various experiments and technology development. Space passengers can use SpaceX dragon crew cabin, or Boeing's starliner and other vehicles to board the space.

Michael T. Suffredini, co-founder and CEO of Axiom Space, was a project manager for the international space station at NASA's Johnson Space Center.

The company has a large number of former NASA talent in its small team, and the follow-up mission will further extend the service life of the International Space Station after meeting its goal of providing it with additional modules for commercial space applications.

In 2018, axiom teamed up with designer Philippe Starck, a formerAppleCompany founder Steve Jobs designed luxury yachts.
