Qualcomm releases 3rd generation 5G baseband Cellon X60: first 5nm, full polymerization

Compared with the previous generation of Xiaolong x55, it focuses on enhancing the carrier aggregation capability. Through a wide range of spectrum combinations, operators can deploy flexibly, including:

  • Support 5g fdd-tdd and below 6GHz frequency band carrier aggregation, which can make full use of spectrum resources and reprogram the LTE spectrum, thus increasing the network capacity and peak rate.
  • Support 5g tdd-tdd and below 6GHz frequency band carrier aggregation, compared with snapdragon x55 5g SA peak rate doubled.
  • Support millimeter wave-6ghz band aggregationto provide a richer choice for operators, taking into account the optimal network capacity and coverage, and the peak throughput rate exceeds 5.5 Gbps.

Qualcomm is committed to millimeter wave.
