On March 10, Tesla CEO Jack musk wrote on social media that it has been 12 years since the first electric vehicle roadster was delivered in 2008 to celebrate the launch of Tesla's 1 million vehicles. In recent years, with the completion of model 3 capacity ramp, Tesla's delivery volume has grown rapidly. In the last February, Tesla delivered nearly a third of China's electric vehicles.

While the delivery volume goes up against the trend, Tesla's capacity is also rising at the same time.

According to the statistics of power battery monthly database in February, the output of new energy vehicles in the domestic market in February this year was about 12000, down 77% year on year. Among them, the output of Tesla's Shanghai plant in February was 3898, accounting for more than 30% of the total, and the output surpassed BYD, ranking first in China's new energy vehicle production.

It is reported that Tesla achieved the delivery target of 367500 vehicles last year, which is seven times higher than that in 2014. Tesla disclosed earlier that the capacity of Fremont plant model 3 and model y in the United States will reach 500000 vehicles / year in the middle of this year, and it is expected to achieve the delivery target of 500000 vehicles this year.

At present, Tesla Shanghai Super factory has resumed production and is fully producing domestic model 3 models. Tao Lin, Tesla's global vice president, has also said that the delivery scheduled for early February after the Spring Festival will be suspended, and Tesla will try its best to make up for the speed of suspension before the epidemic improves.
