On march 28th ,Huawei developer conference 200(Cloud) the next day ,HuaweiMindSpore chief scientist, professor chen lei announced,Mindsport, Huawei's full scenario AI computing framework, is officially open-source in the code cloud, and will work to build an open-source community for the world, and continue to promote the open-source ecological prosperity and development of AI software and hardware applications.

Last August, Huawei released the strongest AI chip in Shenzhen headquartersAt the same time, the full scene AI computing framework MindSpore is launched. Xu zhijun, then Huawei chairman, said that in order to promote AI applications, the MindSpore of the full-scene AI computing framework will be open source in the first quarter of 2020.

Mindspore focuses on improving ease of use and lowering the development threshold for AI developers。 According to Chen Lei, mindsport adapts to each scene, including the end, edge and cloud, and can make the development state more friendly, significantly reduce the model development time and reduce the model development threshold by implementing AI algorithm, that is, code, on the basis of on-demand collaboration.

Through the MindSpore of its own technological innovation and the collaborative optimization of the MindSpore and Huawei Shengteng AI processor, it realizes the high efficiency of the running state and greatly improves the computing performance; MindSpore also supports other processors such as GPU、CPU.

In addition, for AI application developers in the industry, Yuan Jing, general manager of Huawei cloud general AI service, released the industry's first enterprise level AI application development professional suite modelarts pro. Huawei cloud modelarts Pro is positioned as an enterprise AI productivity tool, which can comprehensively improve the industry AI development efficiency and landing effect.

Huawei also shows the full-scene development practice of cloud side based on Huawei artificial intelligence computing platform Atlas by industry partners. So far, the full-stack scenario AI solution that Huawei released at the 2018 full-link conference has been fully landing for developers.

Huawei first released full-stack full-scene AI solutions at the 2018 full-join conference, including chips, chip enablements, training and reasoning frameworks, and application enable full-stack, which can be deployed in full-scene scenarios such as public cloud, private cloud, various edge computing, iot industry terminals, and consumer class terminals.

Speaking about Huawei AI strategy at the 910 launch last year, Mr Xu saidHuawei's positioning AI is a new general purpose technology, which will be applied to almost all parts of the economy, like the railway and power in the 19th century, as well as the automobile, computer and Internet in the 20th century.

At the same time, Huawei also believes that the application of AI is still in the early stage of development, and AI technology and capability are far behind the long-term expectation. Reducing or even eliminating these gaps and accelerating the application of AI are the original intention and goal of Huawei's AI strategy.
