According to Microsoft's previously set roadmap, the windows October update (version 1809) feature update will end support for home and professional users next month. Microsoft has started to automatically upgrade these users to the latest version of windows 10, but due to the ongoing outbreak of new coronavirus, the company admits that this is not a good time to push customers to upgrade to the new version of windows 10.
For this reason, Microsoft announced today that it will extend the support extension of windows October update (version 1809) to November 10, 2020. This applies to the home, professional, professional education, and professional workstation versions of this feature update. The termination of business and education services will continue until May 11, 2021.
