Google has finally released the sale of the new pixel pads real wireless headset recently. While repairing the defects of the first generation products, it is also expected to lead the Android camp to launch a stronger attack on Apple's airpods. In October last year, Google released a real wireless headset with pixel 4 series smart phones. Its main focus is easy pairing and connection stability, and the back-end application is the upgraded version of Android Bluetooth quick pairing system "fast pair".

Users can use Android 6.0 or later devices, just open the charging storage box of pixel pads nearby, and a quick matching dialog box will pop up on the mobile device end, supplemented by the battery display of earplug and charging storage box.

In addition, Android 10 devices can get additional features of "find my device" and link to Google assistant intelligent voice assistant.

In terms of audio, each pixel bus is integrated with a beamforming microphone and sensor, which can better isolate the ambient sound when the user is speaking, and adjust the volume automatically according to the external noise adaptively (such as temporarily increasing to deal with the larger cause, and then the volume will automatically fall back).

Pixel pads can easily call up Google assistant intelligent voice assistant through "Hey, Google" and translate in real-time language with Google translate (at this time, it will enter the split screen UI on Android phone).

However, not all Android devices can get a complete functional experience. For example, Google assistant or Google Translate need to be used with Bluetooth 4.0 or later devices, and need to call Internet access rights.

Each earplug is equipped with capacitive touch sensor, which supports music, call and intelligent assistant. When the pixel pads are put in or taken out of the ear, the proximity sensor can also automatically pause and resume playing music.

The listening range of single headset is 5 hours (2.5 hours of talk), the charging storage box can be charged via usb-c cable or Qi wireless (extended to 24 hours of listening / 12 hours of talk), and has the protection level of IPx4.

After charging for 10 minutes, pixel buses can increase listening time by 2 hours (or one hour continuous call). The weight of a single earplug is 5.3g, and the total weight with a charging storage box is 66.7g.

Google has now begun to accept orders for the new pixel pads real wireless headset, which costs $179 (about 1269 RMB) for the pure white version, and there are many other color options in the future.
