After the official launch of ignite 2018, Microsoft search was launched in May 2019. The service helps unify search across all company products (web and local), especially for Microsoft 365 users. This is because it is linked to enterprise specific data and uses insights from Microsoft graph to provide personalized search results across a variety of products. Therefore, the results you get not only come from the network, but also include company specific content, such as schedules, internal documents, etc.

Although the service was first launched in Bing on the web side, it was later launched in other web services such as onedrive, SharePoint and outlook. Microsoft originally planned to log in to windows 10 platform in the 19h1 function update, but unfortunately it didn't go online.

According to the latest roadmap released by Microsoft, Microsoft has plans to bring it into windows 10 in September 2020. As early as March this year, Microsoft confirmed to Mary Jo Foley of ZDNet that the goal of this feature is to go online in the fourth quarter of 2020, and now it is more accurate to September this year.

It is not clear whether Microsoft is open to all Microsoft 365 subscribers, or whether it is gradually decentralized. It is also unclear whether the feature requires any major updates to the operating system itself. The software giant may announce details as it nears official release.
