Created by the Linux FoundationOpen source SummitThis year, it will take the lead in North America from June 29 to July 2 (CDT utc-05:00). This conference combines the open source summit with the embedded Linux conference. Like most conferences this year, it is also online.

This year's North American open source Summit includes about 230 small meetings, with Linux founder Linus Torvalds, red hat CTO Chris Wright and Google's open source office operation manager Megan Byrd sanicki as speakers There are also professors and academics from Carnegie Mellon University and Berkeley University. Participants can communicate through Internet chat rooms.
The registration fee for this meeting is $50, however, all recorded content will be uploaded to the Linux Foundation's YouTube channel within eight weeks of the event, which will be free to watch.
In addition to the North American summit, the next one will be held in Tokyo on September 15 and 16Japan open source Summit。 This year'sEuropean open source SummitIt is planned to be launched in Dublin, Ireland, from October 26 to 28.
