Apple China has made no concession in its attitude towards the removal of the no format IOS games, and it is reported that more than 26000 IOS games have been removed from the shelves in half a day.
According to the statistics of Qimai,As of 2:00 p.m. on August 1, a total of 26539 games have been removed from the app store in China, which has exceeded the total number of games taken off the shelves in July this year, while only two games have been put on the shelves.
According to Apple's new requirements for the game, developers need to submit the game version number after July 1 this year to be put on the shelves. If the game that has not submitted the version number before is not submitted in time, the developer will not be able to update the game content, and there is a risk that the game will be taken off the shelf.
It was originally reported that Apple would give half a year's grace period for games without a label. However, an email received by developers recently showed that Apple will take the game off the shelves from August 1.
Apple's radicalization in China also has something to do with the current situation. For example, from the actual situation of the app store rankings, the no label games and vest pack products still occupy a large number of positions in the IOS free list and pay list.
In fact, China's regulatory authorities have long required that all games paid for or provided with in app purchases need to be licensed before they are released. Since 2016, major android app stores have implemented this rule. But on the iPhone platform, unauthorized games are still popular, so this adjustment is necessary.
