Today, some netizens uploaded a live video of Tesla Model 3, using V3 super charging pile, charging power up to 250KW. (Click here to watch the video)
As can be seen from the video, during the charging process, the remaining range of the model 3 is also slowly rising. In less than one minute of charging time, the range has increased by more than 20 kilometers.
And it takes only 35 minutes to fully charge, which is even shorter than that of some mobile phones.
Compared with other electric vehicles, the charging speed of model 3 on V3 super charging pile is much faster.
At the end of last year, Tesla built the first V3 super charging pile in China at Shanghai Jinqiao super charging station and officially opened to the outside world. Today, Tesla has installed more V3 overcharged piles in other cities.
The V3 super charging pile adopts a new battery control strategy and power electronic components. Its maximum charging power can reach 250 KW, and its performance is twice as high as that of the V2 super charging pile used in China (the current power of super charging pile is about 120 KW).
Taking Tesla Model 3 long endurance model as an example, under peak power condition, the charging capacity in 5 minutes can increase its driving range by about 120 km, and under ideal conditions, the average charging time of users can be reduced by about 50%.
At the same time, in order to solve the cable heating phenomenon during high-power charging, Tesla adopts liquid-cooled cable to make the charging harness more lightweight and more friendly to female users.
In addition to charging faster, the Tesla Model 3's range is also increasing.
At present, there are three NEDC models on sale in China, which are 445km standard range rear drive, 600km high performance all wheel drive and 668km long range rear drive. The corresponding prices are 2715500 yuan, 419800 yuan and 3440500 yuan respectively.
