VoteByMail.io is a new service created by volunteers, and with work experience from well-known companies such as google, intel, Dropbox and nike, team members aim to help voters more easily complete applications for mailing ballot papers.At present, the website supports nine languages. The site will ask users to submit information, including names and detailed addresses, to find local election officials and create a letter asking to vote by mail. Once completed, votebymail will send a copy of the request to both officials and individuals.
Votebymail said in an interview with the verge that the site now supports 16 states across the United States, making it easy for users to send fax / vote requests to local election officials via email.
VoteByMail plans to increase support for eight other states in the near future, in addition to parts of washington, dc and pennsylvania that support digital registration.
Regarding the remaining states, VoteByMail will work with Vote.org to help voters fill out the necessary forms. just one additional step —— they need to print and deliver by themselves.
