The innovation experiment was jointly completed by Huawei Technology Co., Ltd., Zijinshan Laboratory of network communication and security, Beijing University of Posts and telecommunications, and Jiangsu Provincial Institute of future network innovation. It achieved the world's first delay jitter control of more than 2000 km transmission distance and 100 microseconds. At present, the number of machine communication connections in the world has been close to 30 billion, and it is estimated that the number of machine communication connections will reach 100 billion in 2035. The communication mode and traffic model of intelligent machines will change fundamentally. The data communication scenarios such as remote control, intelligent manufacturing, land, sea and air integration put forward high deterministic bearing requirements of ultra-low delay and ultra-low jitter. Huawei has continued to strengthen technology investment for the future, has been deeply engaged in the field of data communication technology for many years, and has carried out open cooperation for the world. Huawei cooperated with Zijinshan laboratory, Beijing University of Posts and telecommunications, future network innovation research institute and other research institutions to jointly carry out research on the high certainty service of wide area network data communication, and completed the experiment in cooperation. Relying on the future network test facility (Ceni) and the Yangtze River Delta comprehensive test environment, this test built a large-scale test environment covering 13 core nodes including Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Hefei, etc. for the first time, it realized the delay jitter control of more than 2000 km transmission distance and less than 100 microseconds, which further verified the deterministic IP forwarding technology in WAN environment It has built a solid technical foundation for the future network to support ultra long-distance industrial interconnection, high-precision Internet of vehicles, land, sea and air integration and other production control and high-precision business.
Liu Yunjie, director of Zijinshan laboratory and academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, pointed out that the new deterministic network technology can realize high-precision control of network bandwidth, path, delay and jitter, meet the demand of microsecond delay jitter guarantee for future industrial automation, industrial teleoperation, holographic communication, vehicle road coordination and other businesses, promote China's intelligent manufacturing strategy and enhance national competitiveness.
Hu Kewen, President of Huawei's data communication product line, said that Huawei's deterministic IP forwarding technology has been fully verified in the large-scale test environment of this test, showing good high-precision deterministic forwarding performance.
