MediaTek today announced the "most powerful" eight core game chipset, Helio g95, featuring an asymmetric large and small core design. The chipset includes two 2.05 GHz Cortex-A76、 and six low power Cortex-A55CPU cores, supplemented by 900 MHz of Mali-G76MC4GPU units. As an upgraded version of Helio G90, it supports up to four cameras (64mp, 4K @ 30fps video) and integrates AI image enhancement processing unit (APU).

Helio g95 also supports hdr10 display and dual wake-up words, which is 5% / 8% higher than the old chipset in the benchmark test of Angora CPU / GPU Manhattan 3.0.
As a chip for game intelligent machine, Helio g95 is optimized from CPU / GPU / RAM / connection and other aspects, such as supporting enhanced hyperengine technology.
It is worth mentioning that with the support of AI super resolution display technology, Helio g95 can save up to 75% of network bandwidth when streaming 720P HD content from Netflix, prime video, hotstar and other streaming media services.
Unfortunately, the Helio g95 has a much clearer target market than other recently released competitors - only 4G connectivity is supported. It is expected that models equipped with the new chipsets will be available to the market in September.
