Although Connolly is currently in AppleIts exact role is unclear, but it appears that he will be involved in the take away transaction of Apple TV channel features. On Apple TV, users can directly purchase and view third-party streaming services in the app, but the support so far is limited. Last month, apple began selling a combination of subscription services, including CBS all access and Showtime, at a lower overall price of $9.99 per month. The move, along with the employment of Connolly, may indicate that apple is planning more similar service packs and support for Apple TV channels.
Taking into account Connolly experience in bundling services, he may also be involved in Apple's upcoming Apple One subscription service bundling. A bundle of service packages will allow customers to subscribe to Apple digital services like Apple Music、Apple TV bundles. This is expected to result in lower monthly fees than when a separate subscription is made.
