In the latest news, the American Semiconductor Association (SIA) announced that it would award the highest honor Robert n. Noyce Award (Robert Noyce Award) to AMD CEO Dr. Su Zifeng in recognition of his outstanding contributions.
The ceremony is scheduled to be held on Thursday, November 19,2020.
Interestingly, the winner of the award, Robert n. Noyce, is a co-founder of Fairchild Semiconductor and Intel.
SIA president John Neuffer says dr. su has demonstrated his ability as an excellent engineer and manager in his career, leading cutting-edge semiconductor technology and high-performance computing. Her contribution has strengthened the semiconductor industry and inspired and even opened the door to a new world for countless people in other fields of technology.

According to the data, Su Zhifeng became the CEO of AMD in 2014, and the past six years have also been a counter attack period for AMD to hit the bottom and return to the mainstream vision. Before joining AMD, Dr. Su also worked in Freescale, IBM, Texas Instruments and other companies.
