The focus of the civic integrity policy is Twitter's crackdown on tweets that may mislead people into voting or disrupt elections. In a tweet on Thursday, trump claimed that the November election results may never be accurately determined because "an unprecedented number of unsolicited ballots will be sent to" voters, "or anywhere. Now, there's a tag at the bottom of the tweet that says "learn how safe and reliable postal voting is" and links to a page about voting and election information.

Twitter added the same label to Trump's subsequent tweets on Thursday.

Although election officials and the FBI said it was almost impossible to cheat by mail ballot, trump continued to attack postal voting, claiming that it would lead to confusion on election day.

Twitter have previously labeled several of Trump's tweets because they contain misinformation about voting and violate other rules on the site, including a ban on glorifying violence. The tweets of some politicians who violate the rules of the website will be labeled, but left behind because of the public interest. Twitter also stopped political advertising.

Trump also attacked twitter on Thursday. In the absence of evidence, trump accused the social network of deliberately promoting negative news about him in Twitter's trends section, which trump has previously made. Earlier this month, twitter began to add more background to the hot topics on the platform through representative tweets and planning descriptions.
