According to Tesla China's official website, PowerPack is a fully integrated AC connected energy storage system, with everything you need to connect to a building or utility network, and it has the advantage of being far more widely used than a stand-alone battery system. Each PowerPack contains 16 independent battery compartments, temperature control systems and hundreds of DC energy storage devices for monitoring and reporting unit level performance.

The company said the PowerPack system can be expanded to meet the space, power and energy needs of any location, from small commercial enterprises to regional utilities.

According to foreign media, Tesla's batteries can not only save electricity America money, but also reduce the demand for the grid during peak power consumption and reduce the peak electricity charges.

Electric America is a U.S. electric vehicle charging network giant and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Volkswagen. In November, electric car maker byton announced that it would work with electric America to provide two years of free charging to car owners in the United States.

By the end of 2021, byton owners will be able to use more than 3500 charging points of more than 800 charging stations in the United States with a power of more than 150KW to charge their cars.
