Google takeout has long allowed users to export and download local copies of their data. Now, with the support of the data transfer project, users can also use Google takeout to transfer album content to specific third-party services. It is reported that at present, the data migration tool has supported more than 70 "first-party services", and Google claims that the average monthly export operation of takeout is more than 2 million, and the number of exported files in 2019 is more than 200 billion.
Users just need to select "data to include" and customize it on the content options page (select data export destination and link). Of course, users can also directly apply the default "all photos and albums" preferences.
Google said that takeout data direct transmission can help users with limited traffic plans or slow network speed. Looking ahead, the company will also continue to work to improve takeout's functionality and user experience.
