Foreign media reported,On Tuesday local time, tiktok said it would launch a guide in the short video app to show users reliable information about the upcoming U.S. election.TikTok's general-election guide is consistent with other social-networking sites trying to crack down on political misinformation before the november election. Other social networks, including Facebook and Twitter, have also created a web-elected content center to lead users to authoritative sources.

Famous for its quirky dance and contras video TikTok have also become a place for people from different political factions to talk about politics. But like other social networks, it is trying to tweak content on the site, including hate speech and false information. BBC reported that this year, TikTok blocked the label of a far-right conspiracy theory called QAnon, which falsely claimed that there was a "dark force" plot against President Donald Trump and his supporters, but there was still video on the topic in the application.
TikTok users can find the election guide on the application's Discover page by searching for election-related topics. TikTok said the company would also link the guide to the bottom of election-related videos and certified political account videos.
TikTok said the interaction with the U.S. election guide will not have any impact on the platform's future experience.
