Intel is starting to push Linux hardware patch for Meteor Lake

Intel is preparing its first patch for Meteor Lake on the Linux. Meteor Lake is Intel's 7- nm microarchitecture, which is expected to be available by the end of 2022 or early 2023. The processor integrates the Ocean Cove and Gracemont core and is Alder Lake successor.

Linux Kernel 5.10 will be the first kernel to get Meteor Lake. At present, the patch has not reached Linux mainstream kernel, but may appear in the next version of 5.10. The Intel e1000e Linux driver is expanding support Meteor Lake customer platforms.
