Today, Microsoft research announced a new computing concept that they have been working on, called surfacefleet. Microsoft points out that the current content and tools, behaviors and workflow are largely bound to the current device, running the current application for the current user, and at the current moment.

Alibaba cloud launched a special special event for colleges and Universities: 0 yuan experience of entry cloud computing rapid deployment Entrepreneurship Project

SurfaceFleet is a system and toolkit that uses elastic distributed programming techniques to explore interactions across devices, so that there are no constraints on the four dimensions of device, application, user, and time.

SurfaceFleet use lightweight, translucent UI elements, known as Applets, they always appear above the operating system, application windows, and (conceptually) the device itself, while all connected and synchronized data are virtualized and resilient through the cloud.

In the future, this form of work can also implement sharing features. For example, users can share the intention of providing pictures. This interaction commitment can be embedded in other people's documents, and then become a part of the document. Similarly, such a collection of interactive commitments can be arranged into a collaborative document, allowing each party to independently edit its own location, and ultimately the owner can choose which to keep.
