The first batch of customers can expect faster delivery, possibly as early as November 13, when Apple announced the launch date of the two models.
Not all customers were able to receive orders on that date, as the expected delivery time of the two models began to be delayed shortly after they were available for purchase.
Similar to the first wave of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro bookings, customers who ordered quickly began to see updates. Some users on reddit reported delivery updates through a system run by apple and its express partners, and some claimed that orders had already been delivered.
As with the first wave of orders and other product launches before it, apple works with delivery partners to try to maintain the set release date for the product, which means delivery will basically take place on or after Apple's release date.
